Inmate Visitation at Dixie County Jail
The Dixie County Jail allows its inmates to visit with family and friends. Inmates can only have one visit per week. Each visit can last up to 60 minutes. Only 4 visitors are allowed per session. Minors need to be under the supervision of their parents or legal guardian during the visit. Only those individuals on the approved visitation list will be allowed to visit. Visitors will need to present a valid government issued photo ID before entering the facility.

Saturday and Sunday, 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. (Male Inmates), and 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. (Female Inmates)
Wednesday, 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. (Juvenile Visitation)

Dixie County Sheriff’s Office Open Records Request
The Records Office of the Dixie County Sheriff’s Office handles all records and reports generated by the agency. To obtain a copy of a public record such as a police report or local background check, you can submit a request in person at the Sheriff’s Office which can be found in the Dixie County Courthouse at 214 NE 351 Highway, Suite L. When a request is submitted in person, a copy will be provided immediately. A request can also be made through mail. You will need to include a self-addressed stamped envelope. The copies will be sent via US mail within 5 business days unless the case is still under investigation.
