The Sumter County Jail grants its inmates the privilege of visitation. The facility uses Securus technologies to provide this service. To schedule a visit, family and friends can visit the Securus Technologies website and register an account.

Only video visitations are allowed. The video visitations hours are:
Saturday and Sunday, 1:00PM-5:30PM

The Criminal Records Division of the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office is responsible for handling public record requests. Requests can be made in person at either 7361 Powell Rd, Wildwood, FL 34785 or 250 E McCollum Ave, Bushnell, FL 33513. Requests can also be made online. For traffic crash reports, you can also obtain a copy at The Villages Annex at 8033 E CR 466, Lady Lake, 32159.
