The Sumter County Jail grants its inmates the privilege of visitation. The facility uses Securus technologies to provide this service. To schedule a visit, family and friends can visit the Securus Technologies website and register an account.

The Criminal Records Division of the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office is responsible for handling public record requests. For traffic crash reports, you can also obtain a copy at The Villages Annex at 8033 E CR 466, Lady Lake, 32159.
