The Panama City Beach Police Department is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of life and property in the community. It consists of several specialized units such as Communications, Community Services, Field Training, K-9 Patrol, and Marine Unit. The Communications Center handles all calls for service. The Field Training Unit is responsible for training all new officers. The Community Services section oversees various programs that the department provides the community which include the Neighborhood Watch Program and the Cops n’ Kids Program.
