Escambia County Jail Information

The Escambia County Department of Corrections oversees three detention facilities which are the Main Jail, the Work Release Center, and the Video Visitation Facility. Inmate Visitation at Escambia County Jail

Video visitation is a privilege enjoyed by the inmates housed in the Escambia County Jail and the Escambia County Work Annex. Visits are conducted at the Video Visitation Center which can be found at 1190 W. Leonard Street. Visits need to be scheduled ahead of time either online or by using the kiosks that can be found in the lobby of the main jail and the Video Visitation Center. Visits need to be scheduled at least 24 hours prior and no more than 7 days in advance to the date of the visit.

Each inmate is allowed a minimum of two hours of visitation weekly. No more than 2 visitors are allowed per visit. Minors who are younger than 1 year of age are not included in this number. You will need to bring proper identification and register at the center before you are allowed to visit. Take note that you and your belongings will be searched prior to your visit. Sunday – Saturday, 9 – 9:40 a.m., 10 – 10:40 a.m., 11 – 11:40 a.m., Noon – 12:40 p.m., 1 – 1:40 p.m., 2 – 2:40 p.m., 3 – 3:40 p.m., 5 – 5:40 p.m., 6 – 6:40 p.m., 7 – 7:40 p.m., and 8 – 8:40 p.m.

Work Annex Inmates:
Monday – Friday, 6 – 6:40 p.m., 7 – 7:40 p.m. and 8 – 8:40 p.m.
Sunday – Saturday and County Recognized Holidays, 9 – 9:40 a.m., 10 – 10:40 a.m., 11 – 11:40 a.m., Noon – 12:40 p.m., 1 – 1:40 p.m., 2 – 2:40 p.m., 3 – 3:40 p.m., 4 – 4:40 p.m., 5 – 5:40 p.m., 6 – 6:40 p.m., 7 – 7:40 p.m., and 8 – 8:40 p.m.
